Howls From The Founder
In our latest podcast episode, #9, Drew and I take the deep dive into brain development with neuroscientist Kathy Murphy. She explains how dogs’ brains develop throughout their lives starting in puppyhood. It’s a really big deal because if you understand some of the basics and get things right in puppyhood, you'll set the dog up for success! That means a happier dog, and a lot more joy from your companionship.

Did you hear? Owen is ready to be adopted! This sweet boy is looking for a loving and caring home to call his own forever. He loves to play with his purple ball outside and kiss his humans. Owen is full of energy and always on a mission! The world is such a fun place for him. One of his favorite things to do is help with the laundry by dragging items out of the basket. Owen is very friendly and loves to snuggle, especially after all the activities he gets to do during the day. He loves to explore new parks with his foster mom, and he is currently working on getting used to a leash.

After being rescued this summer, he was paralyzed and could not use his back legs. Since then, Owen has been going to physical therapy and has made great strides. While he can use his back legs somewhat, he is still incontinent. There is no guarantee how much more Owen will improve. He is one goofy and intelligent boy who has so much to offer. This special needs pup is looking for a hero to love and provide him with whatever he may need. Caring for Owen will be an adjustment and is not for everyone. But for the right person who wants to see him thrive and offer his unconditional love, this might be a rewarding experience for both of you.
